Fruit driven with careful integration of the best French Oak available gives the wine depth and texture, complementing the fresh stone fruit and citrus with slatey minerality.
Made in the classic Hunter Valley style. Medium bodied showing great character and length of flavour. Use of some new oak and bottling early helps to maintain the intense fruit flavours of red berries and spice.

The 2018 Velvet Shiraz offers fully ripe fruit with optimum flavour and sweetness. A vibrant purple colour, it provides alluring aromas of sour cherry and dark chocolate. Flavours of mulberry and plum pudding are balanced with soft tannins and lingering berry fruits, making the Shiraz a rich round wine.
